The Renovation Transformation

Two studios and the ground between them, rebuilt on camera.

UNIT 1

The Garden Studio 01 Under the Oak Trees

The smallest space on the property, and the one that changed most. Rebuilt around a single idea — that a room under a two-hundred-year-old oak should feel like it belongs to the tree, not the other way around. Blackout shades for sleeping past sunrise, a kitchenette that handles a real morning, filtered water straight from the tap, and a desk positioned for the window rather than the wall.

UNIT 2

The Artist Studio 02 with Balcony

The same rebuild, one level up, with a balcony added over the garden. It's the detail that changes how the room is used: coffee outside in the morning, the canyon going gold in the evening, and the sense of being above the property rather than in it.

COMMON

The Communal Seating Area & Garden

The communal seating area and the garden, rebuilt together. Somewhere for twenty people to sit down at once, and a garden worth sitting in — the part of the property guests end up talking about after they leave. Not a room, but the space between the rooms.
